Gravedona is an idyllic old fishing village with a piazza with weekly market right on the lake and is one of the most beautiful places of Lake Como. One finds here several Ristorantes / Pizzerias, as well as small shops. Likewise, the boat landing, which leads you without a car in many places on the lake. The village center, which lies below the quayside and the lake, runs partly steeply and with idyllic lanes typical of Lake Como along the picturesque bay of Gravedona. At the end of the village is the sparsely populated and flat headland "Poncia" with beautiful beaches near the river mouth and with the shore walk to Dongo
